Redmond just celebrated its centennial year in 2010, and completed the full renovation of Main Street. Home to Roberts Field (Central Oregon’s airport), and the Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center (with events nearly every weekend), Redmond is the fastest growing city in Central Oregon yet retains its small town feel. This is the gateway to Smith Rock State Park, which attracts rock climbers and hikers from around the world – and was recently named one of the 7 Wonders of Oregon. This is also confluence of three major rivers: the Metolius, Crooked and Deschutes Rivers – which makes it a blue ribbon fishing spot.
